Very, very competent operation. I've been there three times now and both the food and the service were consistently very good. The happy hour is the bargain. I'm surprised it isn't packed... And I suspect it will be as the word gets out. This may be the best value in dining in Scottsdale. The quality of the food versus the relatively modest pricing is not typical. Highly recommended. If still lived in Scottsdale, I'd be there weekly. Too bad I only visit three or four times a year

We love being able to walk here for happy hour. We usually sit at the bar. The service is always great, never intrusive but great continuity. We enjoyed the fish tacos, chips and guacamole as well. A balancing act and a glass of Pinot Noir to accompany the snacks! It's a quiet vibe in the mid-afternoon, which makes it easier to chat!

I'd give the food a 5 star for sure! Fish and chips was halibut and absolutely delicious. The chicken Sammie was incredible too! Why I have it 4 stars was the music was so loud we could barely talk and it's slightly more expensive. But service and food were amazing

Wow. This place is fantastic. They take reservations on OpenTable which is always a huge plus. The restaurant is extremely spacious and doesn't feel overcrowded or too loud but still has an upbeat vibe. It's casual while still being sophisticated. The food is fairly priced and the service was great. Our server PJ had a East coast no BS demeanor that I really enjoyed. The steak noodle salad is INCREDIBLE! Steak was cooked to perfection, noodles were al dente, and the dressing is delicious. I also got a cup of lobster bisque which was delicious but it is a pretty small cup for $8. Overall, I am looking forward to returning to try everything else on the menu because it all sounds incredible.

Located inside the space formerly known as Twisted Grove at The Village at Hayden on N. Hayden Rd. and E. Via de Ventura. I did not realize this was Twisted Grove and I don't believe I ever ate at Twisted Grove but remember the name. I went on a Saturday Night- it was a date night and the environment is very relaxing. The waiters were attentive. My date had (3) glasses of wine and I was offered a "snack" so we shared a hamburger platter. The hamburger was absolutely outstanding. It was cooked to perfection- it was the Chophouse burger. The date asked the waiter to split the hamburger but I did it for them. The environment was an upbeat vibe and the staff allowed us to talk late into the evening- when one of the management people said, "Do you want a pillow to stay the night." He was very friendly and I forgot his name but a big thank you. He was getting ready for brunch the next day. It was easy parking- always a favorite of mine to be able to walk in directly into a restaurant. Chef Christopher Collins is well-known in the area and it is a perfect place to go for a casual classic American fare. The date I don't know about LOL but I will definitely be back again to the restaurant, as I liked the place very much.
